Suda51’s cult classic, Lollipop Chainsaw, celebrated its 10th anniversary last month with news that a new title in the series would soon be revealed.

Yesterday news broke that the newly created Dragami Games is indeed working on a remake of Lollipop Chainsaw for unspecified platforms but there’s a few major differences.

The graphic style will now be more “realistic”, if that bothers you any.

James Gunn, yes, that James Gunn, helped write the script for the original game. He has nothing to do with this Remake.

Either does co-creator Sudi51 or his studio, Grasshopper Manufacture.

Much of the licensed music won’t be returning.

Warner Bros. Interactive, the original publisher, is in support of this Remake.

Below is the original statement from producer Yashima Yasuda, showing his excitement for the project.
