The ‘evolution’ of PlayStation Plus begins this week in Asia on May 24th, as it and PlayStation Now come together to create PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe.

One of the most appealing aspects of all this happens to be the love that the PlayStation classics appear to be getting. Sure the PS2 and PS3 games are what they are (streaming only for PS3, PS2 titles are the already released PS2 on PS4 classics), information regarding the PS1 and PSP selections are now going live.

News broke this past week when Bend Studios confirmed that their PS1 classic Syphon Filter would have trophies including a platty when it joins PS Plus Premium/Deluxe.

The first wave of PS1/PSP classics were revealed and now we know the following games will have trophy support on both the PS4 and PS5!

  • Ape Escape (PS4/PS5 trophies)
  • Hot Shots Golf (PS4/PS5 trophies)
  • I.Q. Intelligent Cube (PS4/PS5 trophies)
  • Jumping Flash!
  • Syphon Filter (PS4/PS5 trophies)
  • Super Stardust Portable (PSP)
  • Wild Arms (PS4/PS5 trophies)
  • Mr. Driller 
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Odyssey
  • Tekken 2  
  • Worms World Party 
  • Worms Armageddon 
  • Ridge Racer 2 (PSP)

Thanks to PlayStation Malaysia, we were able to add Ridge Racer 2 and Oddworld: Abe’s Odyssey to the above list.
