You might not know this but of all the trailers revealed during the PlayStation Showcase from September 2020, Hogwarts Legacy holds the crown with the most views at over 27 million.

So yeah, it’s safe to say that fans of the Harry Potter series are ready to be accepted into the most famous of magical institutions, but unfortunately the game has been hit with delays.

It didn’t help that the COVID-19 pandemic has cast a monstrous wave of delays upon the entertainment industry, pushing games back further and further as we all do our best to keep one another safe.

It also hasn’t helped that the creator of the Harry Potter series, J. K. Rowling, went all crazy throwing slander at people, acting all high and mighty as if she wasn’t a peon like the rest of us at point. You know it’s bad when the creator of a series isn’t even invited to the 20th anniversary special of the films based on your books. Ouch.

While WB Games walks on egg shells trying to keep their investment afloat and controversy free, now rumors are whirling that Hogwarts Legacy could be delayed until 2023!

The information comes courtesy of Colin Moriarty, of the Sacred Symbols podcast, who has been on point about his rumors in the past regarding Ratchet & Clank and the Demon’s Souls Remake.

I’m hearing behind the scenes that game is not coming out this year, and that it’s in some sort of trouble.

Not much to go on but this isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors about the game slipping. We will diffently keep you updated on all things Hogwarts Legacy, Brah!
