Make no mistake about it, as awesome as 2018’s God of War is as a game, if not for Christopher Judge’s performance as Kratos, the game would not have been as impactful without him.

His depth, his emotion, the greatness that he brought to Kratos as he completely changed the meaning of the word ‘boy’ for Gamers forever! Seriously. The series, in my opinion, would not be the same without him.

Sony Santa Monica also agrees, because according to Mr. Judge, they delayed God of War Ragnarok due to his physical condition. Christopher couldn’t walk and needed major surgeries to be able to.

Of course, additional issues such as the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic certainly didn’t helped, causing the team to work apart, so Christopher shouldn’t put all the blame on his shoulders. He added that SSM was 100% supportive of the situation going on in his life.

Another big shock is that Christopher was ready to leave the project upon finding out that Corey Barlog was stepping down from the Director role to working on other projects.

Hopefully we will get another behind-the-scenes ‘making of’ video for Ragnarok because this one could be S P I C Y !
