With the way Marvel Games was going around finding devs to work on Marvel Characters, it was only time before Lucasfilm Games would return.

The brand returned earlier this year ready to dispense games to those who they found worthy of the license(s). We know MachineGames is working in an Indiana Jones title. EA and Ubisoft are working on Star Wars games, as EA’s grasp over the Star Wars gaming IP has come to an end.

The next rumored partnership? Lucasfilm Games and Quantic Dream, creators of such titles as Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human! This nugget of information comes courtesy of French YouTuber, Gautoz.

They now finished their contract with Sony and will be signing with Disney. It looks like they will be working on a Star Wars game.

Tom Henderson, an accurate leaker on Twitter that we’ve covered before, also dropped a cryptic tweet regarding the rumor.


He also pointed out that the official Quantic Dream Twitter account ‘liked’ a tweet regarding the rumor, but they have since unliked it.


Tom, who also writes for the DualShockers, covered the news on the site, adding some additional information – the game has been in development for 18-months!

It’s still currently unclear on what exactly the 18-month time span entails, with rumors within the French developer community suggesting that the title could have just started full development in the past several months.
