We’re less than a month away from the release of Death Stranding Director’s Cut on the PS5, a name that Director Hideo Kojima didn’t have much nice to say about.
Another piece of major entertainment content is upon us, this time starring the hero of Death Stranding, Norman Reedus. Season 11, the final season of AMC’s The Walking Dead also stars Norman as its main character since Rick left several seasons back.
While doing promotional work for the TWD season 11, Mr. Reedus seems to have announced that negotiations are on going for a Death Stranding sequel!
I think we’re doing a second Death Stranding. [The game] is in negotiations right now. So… Yay!
Of course, Norman could very well be talking about the upcoming Director’s Cut and not a proper sequel to the best-selling Death Stranding. Hermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios, has never shied away from talking about his relationship with Hideo Kojima since taking over the role from Shuhei Yoshida. Hermen greenlighting a sequel wouldn’t shock me at all.
If you missed it earlier this week, here’s (almost) nine minutes of footage showcasing the new elements coming to Death Stranding Director’s Cut on the PlayStation 5!
Are you ready for more Death Stranding in your life? Death Stranding Director’s Cut brings the strange to the PS5 on September 24th.
