Sony Interactive Entertainment’s 1st-party titles dominated last-gen, winning over gamers with millions (and millions!) of copies sold along with winning hundreds of awards over the past 7 years.
SIE is hoping that their PlayStation Studios can once again tap into that ‘banger magic’ again this current-gen as they begin to produce more and more PlayStation 5 consoles to meet consumer demand.
In an interview with Wired, Hermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios, was quoted as saying that they have ‘more than 25 titles in development for the PS5—nearly half of which are entirely new IP.’
Damn impressive! You do need to step back and look at it. Here’s what we know of:
Horizon Forbidden West
God of War Ragnarok
Gran Turismo 7
New PixelOpus title
Naughty Dog Factions multiplayer title
Rumored The Last of Us Remake
Bend Studio new IP
New IP with Haven Studios
New IP with Firewalk Studios
London Studio New IP.
Ghost of Tsushima sequel
Guerrilla Games second team title
PSVR 2 titles
