All you’ve heard lately is that Sony has moved away from smaller, quirky titles to focus on big-budgeted games with little innovation.

Sure, it didn’t help that they recently disbanded their Japan Studio, resulting in some of their most creative developers finding new homes after decades of work.

Forget what you’ve heard, Sony does take chances, just look at what they’ve done with Housemarque’s Returnal.

On the eve of Returnal‘s release, Mikael Haveri, CEO and co-founder of Housemarque, put out a blog post detailing the development journey of the game. He went on to thank Sony for taking a chance on Returnal.
