Gaming on smartphones has become a very lucrative business over the years since Angry Birds and Candy Crush first started cashing in on mobile gaming.
Most of the biggest entertainment brands, from Nintendo to Marvel to the WWE, have multiple games on smartphones that help bring in millions of additional revenue to their respective brands.
Hell, Sony’s Aniplex is no stranger to the success of mobile gaming thanks to Fate/Grand Order as the game has brought in over $5 billion in revenue since it first launched.
Now it appears that Sony is ready for the PlayStation brand to get in on that action. The search is on as they’re currently hiring for a ‘Head of Mobile (gaming), PlayStation Studios’.

Do you want to lead the development and strategy of mobile gaming and help shape the future of gaming for a world-class studio? As Head of Mobile, you will own and develop the mobile games strategy for PlayStation Studios and help build a foundation for future growth opportunities.
You will lead all aspects of the expansion of our game development from consoles and PCs to mobile & Live Services with a focus on successfully adapting PlayStation’s most popular franchises for mobile. You will be responsible for building and scaling a team of mobile leaders and will serve as the Head of this new business unit within PlayStation Studios.
