Sony made a splash last year during the PS5 reveal(s), showcasing a bounty of 1st party titles from across their mighty PlayStation Studios.

With most of those titles having already released or planned for released within the year (fingers crossed!), what’s next from PlayStation’s teams?

Even though London Studio has been busy with PlayStation VR Worlds and Blood & Truth the past few years, rumors have swirled about their new project being a VR adventure in the world of Horizon Zero Dawn.

However, thanks to some recently posted job listings on their site, either that was never true, they’re working on two projects at once, it could’ve been scrapped, or the team has been given a fresh start with this new IP. As most of their recent job listings refer the opportunity to work on their “brand new, next-gen IP”.

One key focus looks to be online, as one of the key hires is for a ‘Principal Online Gameplay Designer’ who will be the ‘leading light for multiplayer gameplay in the team, bringing knowledge, experience and a passion for online multiplayer gaming to the team. You will be directly responsible for the development of gameplay mechanics and systems working with technical, mission and narrative design leads as well as our fabulous gameplay code team.

There’s a plethora of job positions available for this upcoming project, so if you’re interested, check them out. Perhaps sometime in the near future we shall see what London Studio is working on as Sony gives us more reasons to buy a PlayStation 5.

What would you like to see from London Studio?
