PlayStation’s Play At Home initiative got underway last year, during the height of the pandemic. Back then, Sony released Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey, free for all players. Accessible, even without a PlayStation Plus membership. In 2021, Sony confirmed they would continue this initiative and begun by giving 2016’s Ratchet & Clank away for free. Well, PlayStation isn’t stopping there.
On the PlayStation Blog, we have an update regarding their plans for the Spring lineup. Suffice to say, it’s a pretty beefy package. The lineup consists of a good mix between indie, VR and AAA. Starting March 25th, players will have access to Abzu, Enter the Gungeon, Rez Infinite, Subnautica, The Witness, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Thumper and Paper Beast. Also, in participating countries, Sony’s offering an extended trial of Funimation, which includes shows like Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer.
Last but not least, starting April 19, 2021, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition will be available for free download between Aril 19 and May 14.

As mentioned earlier, there’s a little something for everyone in this package at no additional cost for us. It’s hard to fabricate any negatives here. Getting a selection of great games, for free, while we’re stuck at home, is damn cool. Seeing how Play At Home, has already morphed into something better compared to last month’s single offering, is a great sign for things to come. Let’s hope whatever form, Play At Home takes next, is even better.
