On March 21st, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia will host, PlayStation Japan ‘Play! Play! Play!’ Which is billed as a talk show of sorts, featuring some of the hottest games from Japan scheduled to release soon. Additionally, you can expect the talk show to run about an hour. Specifically, starting at 20:00 JST to 21:00 JST.
The scheduled program will feature two titles, one from Capcom and Square Enix, Resident Evil Village and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, respectively. According to Gematsu, presenters for Resident Evil Village include, director Morimasa Sato, model Kayo Satoh and MC Hatsune Matsushima. Now, for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, presenters include, Yoshinori Kitase and MC Takuya Nakamura.
Now, the headline for the program says, ‘A talk show that makes you want to play’. So, this isn’t exactly clear as to whether or not we should look forward to any new gameplay. Then again, since the program is dubbed as a talk show, I suppose that should keep our expectations in check. Although, since the main headline says ‘makes you want to play’, what better way to make us want to play than by showing us gameplay? (I kid, I kid.)
Also, I think it’s safe to assume there won’t be any new game announcements stemming from this program. As there’s no mention of any other titles having a presence in the show. At the least, I don’t think it’s too far from the realm of possibility to hear some new details we’ve yet to know about. I mean, obviously, right? It’s tough to gauge what this exactly is going to be.
Nonetheless, I’ll keep my finger’s crossed for some more Resident Evil Village gameplay at the PlayStation Japan ‘Play! Play! Play’. Because obviously, I’m in need of even a crumb of new Lady D content. Although, I’m not holding my breath for it.
