Sony went all in on with their exclusives last generation with great results. Many of their biggest titles sold 5 million or more copies, with many selling 10 million, and a few having moved 20 million plus such as God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man.

They’re hoping to replicate that success with the PS5, with a wealth of exclusives (console, timed, and Only on PlayStation) at launch and a smorgasbord releasing in 2021 & beyond. A new sizzle reel trailer featuring some of those titles was uploaded today, bringing with it some additional information regarding many of these upcoming games.

Gran Turismo 7 will be releasing in 2021, rather than the last date we heard that said the first half of 2021. Also, it looks as if it’ll be a PS5 exclusive and not a cross-gen release similar to Horizon Forbidden West and Sackyboy: A Big Adventure.

Deathloop will be a PS5 console exclusive for a year, as well Ghostwire Tokyo. Both games will be Microsoft owned IP’s at some point in 2021.

Project Athia, the first PS5 console exclusive announced by Square Enix, will remain that way for two years before hitting other consoles. It will also be available on PC, but we already knew that.

No additional information on such titles as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart or Horizon Forbidden West. Seeing as how 2021 is comin’ round the bend pretty damn fast, things shouldn’t stay that way for long.
