Looks like we don’t have to wait much longer for the long awaited sequel to Persona 5.

Announced back in 2019, alongside Persona 5 Royal, the game is a Musou style action game developed by Koei Tecmo, the team behind the Dynasty Warriors games.

The announcement trailer has seemingly leaked online, as most of these things tend to do. Someone had leaked the trailer on Twitter which was unlisted by the official Atlus West YouTube channel and of course, got removed soon after. But, with the Game Awards just around the corner, the leak makes you wonder if this announcement was planned for a big reveal during the award show.

The game originally released in Japan on February 20th of this year, under the title, Persona 5 Scramble, instead. Ever since then, fans have been eagerly anticipating the western release of the game as its set to be a continuation of 2017’s, Persona 5.

Persona 5 Strikers is due to release on February 23, 2021 on the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Steam.
