Nominations for the 38th Golden Joystick Awards, the largest community led award show, hosted by GamesRadar+ have been revealed and voting is now live.

The show’s first-ever all digital event will have a staggering 20 categories for the audience to vote on. These categories include Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, eSports, Mobile and PC game of the year. As well as categories in Best Family Game, Best Studio, Best Game Community, Best Game Expansion, Best Gaming Hardware, Best Multiplayer Game, Most Wanted, Still Playing and Best Indie Game.

While it seems most of the world is burning around us, this year did manage to provide us a hell of a list of games to enjoy. And that’s precisely what the awards seek to spotlight. The show will act as a celebration of all the amazing games from both AAA and indie that have wowed us this year.

Leading the pack with 4 nominations each are, The Last of Us: Part II, Hades, Paradise Killer and Fall Guys.

Just looking at this small list here, it really cements the kind of year we had. From titles such as Hades, Nioh 2 ,Fall Guys, Spelunky 2, Dreams, Persona 5 Royal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima, there was just no shortage of quality this year. What’s even crazier? You can still rattle off a number of great games that released this year.
