As we (slowly) inch closer and closer to the next generation of gaming consoles, more and more publishers are beginning to share their offerings of what they’ll be bringing to these new, powerful consoles from Sony and Microsoft.

Today Bethesda confirmed that DOOM Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online will work on both next-gen consoles via backwards compatibility. Furthermore owners of said game will receive PS4 to PS5 upgrades and enhancements! While Bethesda didn’t go in-depth as to what this means exactly, it’s fantastic news to see another huge publisher join the free next-gen upgrades brigade

More news will be coming in the near future, along with any announcements of other past titles that could receive free upgrades.

Which games would you like to see proper upgrades of from the Bethesda catalogue?
