The biggest surprise at the PS5 reveal back in June was none other than the reveal of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales from Insomniac Games.
While most PS4 exclusives this gen. come in at around 30fps (or FILMIC as some would say), many gamers have wondered if the teams at the PlayStation Studios will continue to sacrifice frame rate to prioritize the ultra-detailed worlds of greatness.
Now the picture is getting clearer. After Bluepoint Games confirmed that the Demon’s Souls Remake will offer a performance mode, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales joins the club, offering future PS5 owners the chance to enjoy Miles’ story in 4K and we’re assuming 30fps OR 60fps performance mode with perhaps some type of dynamic resolution to go with it.
The tweet from Insomniac confirming the modes is worded a bit strange though, so we assumed they meant modes:
