It was going to happen eventually. 2020 is looking more and more like the swansong for Sony’s (last??) glorious handheld, The PlayStation Vita.
Manufacturing of the handheld halted last year but that didn’t stop japanese sites from tracking sales figures for it. Until now. Games Data Library on Twitter is reporting that PS Vita sales are no longer being tracked. They have ‘ended’ in Japan at 5,998,319 systems sold.
Combined hardware sales for the first two weeks of 2020.
We should be getting data for each week later on.

In my mind I will celebrate when it passes 6 millions sold in Japan by the end of 2020! You can’t stop my love for the Vita!
Even though the pathway to the gaming graveyard is inevitable for the PS Vita, 4 games have already released for it via the PlayStation Network!
