The Masters of remasters/remakes, Bluepoint Games, have had their names attached to many rumored games over the past few years.
After blowing away the PlayStation Nation with their work on the Shadow of the Colossus remake, fans started to create list of games they wanted the team to bring their magic to. It has been rumored they’re working on a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid. Colin Moriaty among others have claimed their working on a Demon’s Souls remake. The only official piece of information we have is that Bluepoint is officially working on a PlayStation 5 game.
So when they randomly dropped this Halloween tweet today, the gaming world took notice. LOOK AT IT! IT’S HELLA’ CRYPTIC!!!!
So calm this spooky night. A symphony of rumors – not one, but two – return from shadow. A resistance to dart home as black monsters escape twisted hills to wander lands and syphon souls. Filter your candy collections, soft from solid, and be eco-friendly. Have a metal Halloween. pic.twitter.com/mFFxI7BIDN— Bluepoint Games (@bluepointgames) October 31, 2019
Let’s break it down by keywords:
- Two rumored games.
- Syphon and Filter being a WORD apart.
Brah. The possibilities! Symphony of the Night remake?! Resistance collection remasters?! Syphon Filter remakes??! More fuel to the Metal Gear Solid remake rumors??! Twisted Metal: Black remaster?! THIS TWEET IS TOO MUCH!!!
Whatever the case may be we should know about one (or both?!) of these titles sometime next year. What do YOU think it all means, Brah?!?
