Here’s some funny news for you to ingest: Shuhei Yoshida, the President of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Worldwide Studios was NOT subscribed to PlayStation Now, the Cloud-based/downloadable gaming subscription service his employer offers, until the drastic price cut that started on October 1st.
Shuhei dropped this rather ironic tweet tonight for all of us to enjoy.
（´-`）.｡oO（joined PS Now as it has gotten cheaper, thought of downloading PS4 games but started playing ICO on streaming instead. Convenience.)— Shuhei Yoshida (@yosp) October 3, 2019
What’s even crazier? That Sony doesn’t give such an important key to the WWS stable of talent a FREE subscription!
nope— Shuhei Yoshida (@yosp) October 3, 2019
I’ll be on honest, I’ve only subscribed to the service twice in the five years since the service has been around. BUT now that this price-drop has happened, I will be definitely re-subscribing so that my oldest Son can’t say he has nothing to play when he has instant access to over 800 games.
Do you subscribe to PlayStation now? Will you at some point in the future?
