We gave No Man’s Sky the comeback kid award last year, as Hello Games did one helluva’ job updating the game with NEXT update which introduction a vast number of changes to the game, both big and small.

This year’s update, Beyond, went one step further by introducing the highly requested VR mode across a variety of VR devices including the market leader, the PlayStation VR.

There’s one issue with the PSVR mode of the game. The image is really blurry. While it doesn’t ruin the experience, it certainly doesn’t help with overall atmosphere. Good news! The most recent experimental update brings with it a bevy of changes along with what Hello Games calls ‘significant improvements’ to the image quality of the PSVR mode!

Introduced a number of PC VR and PSVR rendering optimisations.
Significantly improved image quality in PSVR: reduced blurriness caused by TAA jitter and fixed low-quality terrain/atmosphere jaggies

This update dropped on the 12th, so hopefully we will receive this update on consoles sometime in the upcoming week. You can read the full list of changes here if interested.
