Fighting game fans are about to unite for Evo 19 taking place in Las Vegas starting August 2nd to the 4th. Evo took to Twitter to announce that the PlayStation brand will presenting 8 of the 9 main event games at Evo 19!
We are excited to partner with @PlayStation for #EVO2019! 8 of the 9 main event titles are presented by PS4. Don’t miss any of the action and stay tuned for more news from PlayStation at EVO! #EVOPS4 pic.twitter.com/BTWlWmGdPB

Below are the games that will be presented/played on PlayStation:
- Street Fighter V
- Tekken 7
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Soul Calibur VI
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Samurai Showdown
- BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
- Under Night In-Birth: Exe:Late[st]
The most intriguing part of the whole tweet is how they mention to stay tuned for ‘more news from PlayStation’ at the event! Many new fighting games and DLC have been announced over the years at past EVO tournaments, so what could it be?
We’ve heard rumors that Tekken x Street Fighter could make a mighty return after all these years. Some are saying Street Fighter VI. Doubt it. Others are hoping (and praying) for a new PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Strong possibility that none of these could happen but we certainly think some major could potentially be announced given the magnitude of the event.
With the event commencing next week we will be here to cover any and all news coming out of the world’s biggest fighting game tournament!
