The Internet almost shattered in early April when Sony via Wired.com dropped the first details of the next-gen PlayStation. One of the biggest benefits thanks to the reported SSD-like device being built-in to the PS5 is super-fast load times for PS4 and PS5.
While the article described the difference, we can now see the difference. During Sony’s Corporate Strategy meeting on Tokyo, CEO Kenichiro Yoshida presented those in attendance with a comparison video showcasing the speeds of Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PS4 Pro to the PS5.

As you can see load times for the game have been mightily improved along with the performance of Spidey’s open-world. Of course showing off a current-gen game is nice and all until we see how next-gen titles run on what is being described as a beast of a next-gen console.
