Patents are fun as it gives an idea behind some of the creative thoughts. But this one in particular has me excited. It looks like these new controllers would add not only hepatic feedback, but also be able to have different levels of resistance. Along with that, the controller seems to know where and how the controller is being held and based on how it is being held, the buttons could possibly be remapped.

But more interesting is the timing. With PS5 rumors going around like they are and PlayStation VR will be a strong focus with the new generation, could PlayStation VR v 2.0 give everyone the controls they have been asking for? I know for one, having the thumb stick of the Navigation controller with a new updated Move controller would add some amazing new ways to experience and play in Virtual Reality.
