Sony has slowly allowed more Developers into their cross-play beta, as Fortnite and Rocket League are currently the only PS4/Xbox One/Switch/PC cross-play titles on the PS4.
Earlier this week War Thunder Dev Gaijin Entertainment called out Sony on Twitter, asking why their game has yet to be invited to the program. Now another studio is calling them out, asking when they will be a part of the fun.
Hi-Rez Studios, developers of Paladins, Smite, and Realm Royale currently offer cross-play on all systems except for PS4. They’re tired of waiting as the Studios’ CEO took to Twitter to tell Sony to stop “playing favorites”.
Hey @Sony @PlayStation. It's time to stop playing favorites and tear down the crossplay/progression wall for everyone. We have @SMITEGame, @PaladinsGame, @RealmRoyale ready to go when you are. https://t.co/KNDetpXPf5
