Warner Bros. Interactice Entertainment And NetherRealm Studios are going all out with Mortal Kombat 11. Last week’s reveal event was one of the biggest in the history of the series, with a ton of announcements! Ronda Rousey as Sonya Blade! $300 special editions! Tons of blood and gore!!

But this is 2019! What Gamers really want to know about is which games will feature cross-platform play! Fortnite and Rocket League have joined PlayStation’s cross-play beta program. Could Mortal Kombat 11 be next?!

Callum Agnew of wccftech asked the question we all wanted the answer to. The answer was positive but I wouldn’t set my hopes too high.

At our behest, Callum queried him regarding the chances of cross-play making it into the game now that more titles are enabling it. While they aren’t discussing any details for now, it is something they are looking into and hope to do at some point. Cross-play isn’t likely to be enabled at the game’s launch on April 23rd, then, but it may well be released later.

Would this be an awesome addition? Brah yeah! Do we think it’ll happen? I give it a 50/50 shot. If it happens, we promise to let you know!

Mortal Kombat 11 Kills the Kompetition on April 23th.
