Rumors began to heat up yesterday that the Spyro Reignited Trilogy was about to get delayed out of September. We didn’t cover because well, people still say that Marvel’s Spider-Man is going to be delayed.
OOPS. Should’ve listened! Toys for Bob Co-Studio Head Paul Yan broke the news late last night in an official statement confirming it will be delayed until November 13th:
Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years. We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.
Makes you wonder if all that outrage from earlier this month regarding the fact the game has major Day 1 updates had something to do with this. Either way, this helps our wallets out a bit.
What about you? Are you getting the Spyro Reignited Trilogy or are you waiting for sale?
