When a game catches my eye it can be for many reasons. In the case of Feudal Alloy it was the artwork. There was no way I could not share this with all the cool gamers that visit our site. Developed by Attu Games (a two person team) the title is set to release Q3 of 2018 on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
The Metroidvania-style RPG is very pleasing to the eyes. The artwork immediately reminded me of the movie Sword in the Stone. I love that style of animation. I can only imagine the work that was put into this game but when you see those hand drawn scenes it makes you want to stand up and applaud indie developers with this kind of dedication. Enough about why I am head over heels for this game.
The main character of the game is Attu who is a robot controlled by a fish. I am laughing as I write this because I can picture the silly robot with a fish bowl on his head. Attu was forced out of his home by outlaws who attacked his village and now he must find his way back. In Feudal Alloy you will be able to explore the medieval world all the while picking up loot to change your robot. Of course there is loot, this is an adventure game.
You will be able to wield swords along with other weapons and attacks. There will be enemies and bosses to keep you on your toes during your adventure. You will be able to improve Attu’s skills and equipment as you progress by defeating foes and gathering items from objects you smash. Did someone say something about smashing things? Sweet!
Pick up your sword and choose which path you want to take but first make sure to enjoy the detail in this game, I mean it was created by a two person team! Incredible. I know I said that before but it’s worth noting twice.
I cannot wait to adventure out with Attu and explore what all Feudal Alloy has to offer. Watch the trailer below and let us know if this game will make it’s way into your library.
