BRAH. Can we all PLEASE AGREE that Fall 2018 is AB-SO-LUTE-LY STACKED?!?! Now we have Assassin’s Creed Odyssey dropping on October 5, thanks to someone online who decided to forgo the embargo on the dev diary that confirms the release date.
This is the third major leak for the title, as the official name was leaked last week, followed by a batch of screenshots the other day.
VG247.com was able to watch the dev diary before it was pulled and described some of the more important details.
The game lets you choose between a pre-made male and female characters (Kassandra, and Alexios), and they both have the same story. Both characters also have connections to the first civilisation, though details about this interesting tidbit will be left for the player to discover.
We also got a look at the map, which looks a bit bigger than Assassin’s Creed: Origins, spanning several different regions of Greece. As mentioned in the various leaks, there’a greater emphasis on boat combat this time around. The video featured footage of ship boarding, ramming, and general combat at sea.
With Ubisoft’s Press Conference less than an hour away, look forward to more details and even a new trailer or two!
