Sega|Atlus have officially announced the western releases for Persona 3: Dancing In Moonlight & Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight. Both games have released in japan on May 24th and now it’s finally being localized for the west. Both games have been slated for early 2019 for both PS4 and PS Vita.  Unfortunately the PS Vita version will be a digital download only as physical production of Vita cartridges has ended in the west.

IMG_7996Both rhythm games will feature tracks from the original Japanese versions, you’ll also have both English and Japanese audio, it also features fan favourite songs from Persona 3 and Persona 5. If you’ve played Persona 4 Dancing all night, then you’re gonna feel familiar with P3D and P5D.

You’ll Begin both games with a small selection of songs, but as you complete them, you’ll unlock more songs, characters and costumes.

You can also connect with your favourite characters from the SEES or the Phantom Thieves, when complete specified songs and certain objectives, you’ll unlock “Social” event scenes between characters. The scenes will give you a deeper look into character personalities and relationships. It’s a great time to be a Persona fan, with Blazblue doing a cross over with Persona 4 and the recently aired Persona 5 anime, the future is looking bright for the franchise.

The one question I have is whether or not the western release will include the Yakuza and sonic costumes like the Japanese release. Come on! Atlus, you need to bring some of that greatness over here in the west.

Here’s the YouTube video links for both trailers.
