After the phenomenal reception (and sales success) that was Assassin’s Creed Origins, you knew it wouldn’t be long before Ubisoft returned to the Brotherhood. Rumors spread like wildfire last year that the next game in the series would be Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and thanks to JeuxVideo, it has been CONFIRMED!!
A direct sequel to Origins, Odyssey will be taking place in Greece. it is currently unknown if the game will release this Fall or Fall 2019.
(Updated!) Seems like the Brahs over at Kotaku have a bit of additional information:
- Apparently the game will more than likely release this Fall.
- Dialogue options will appear for the first time in the series.
- The game features a new male or female protagonist character. Bayek and Aya have been absent thus far.
- The keychain below has started arriving at stores worldwide.
We should learn more at E3 2018, seeing as how pre-order items are currently be sent to retailers.
We will keep you updated on any future information!
