Sony was quick to celebrate the amazing success of God of War surpassing 3.1 million copies in the first three days on the market. While there hasn’t been another official update since then, John Kodera has gone on record and updated the sales figures for GoW!
Around the 5:50 to 6:15 minute mark, CEO of SIE John Kodera’s PlayStation report at Sony Investor’s Day, John mentions that God of War has sold more than 5 MILLION copies since release on April 20, 2018!
GoW is truly one of PlayStation’s biggest hits of any generation. Congrats to the PlayStation and Santa Monica Studios!

EA said Single Player games are DEAD
Are you telling me EA has no idea what they are talking about?
EA’s comment was taken out of context. They still believe in single player experiences as evident as their inclusion of such experiences in Battlefront 2 and the recently announced Battlefield V. Many if not all of their games include single player modes. The original Titanfall and Battlefront didn’t feature campaign modes but were added for the sequel. Battlefront 2 also has a very deep offline arcade and split screen mode with progress being tracked. Mass Effect, Anthem, Dragon Age are all Single Player focused. What EA meant was that such games should also include multiplayer for both types of gamers. So their actions speak louder than words. Activision however is reportedly removing single player from one of their biggest games.
What about Far Cry 5?
