Here we go!!! Only 21 more days until Capcom unleashes Monster Hunter: World into the wild! Capcom dropped a load of new information during a livestream today, as the Monster Hunter hype train begins to gain speed as we inch closer and closer until the release date later this month.

Capcom announced yet another beta phase, once again for all PS4 owners, beginning on January 18 and ending on January 22. The three previous hunts will be available, PLUS AN ALL-NEW HUNT FEATURING AN ALL-NEW MONSTER!! Do you have what it takes to kill the mighty Nergigante!?!?

Capcom also let it be known that the game will have regular content drops, so that players won’t have an excuse to leave the world of Monster Hunter. Capcom PR’s official statement on post-launch content!

Finally, Capcom today confirmed that there are plans for post-launch support of Monster Hunter: World with regular content updates, as well as major title updates for free. The first major title update will be coming in Spring 2018 which includes the addition of the fan-favorite monster Deviljho. Players will be able to put their hunting skills to the test against this brute. The Deviljho must feed constantly and will devour anything in its way, even feeding on the largest of monsters with its massive jowls. This wild beast really is one for only the bravest of hunters to take on!
