JRPG fans can’t ignore the meteoric rise of the Persona franchise since Persona 3 dropped 11 years ago. Persona 5 has really brought the series some mega-mainstream attention (because it’s such a freagin’ good game!) and Atlus looks to capitalize on the popularity with Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night next year for the PS4 and PS Vita.

Good news! Development on both titles has reached the “climax” stage, Brah! Producer Kazuhisa Wada shared the update in the newest issue of Dengaki PlayStation Vol. 651!

The [Persona 5] TV anime will be starting and the series will be even more exciting next year.

We would like to deliver various developments, including games, of course.

The development of both titles [Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night] has reached its climax.

Hopefully this means that both games will have no issue hitting their targeted release dates of Spring 2018 in Japan.. then maybe a Fall 2018 release for both in the West? We can dream, right?
