(UPDATED!!) Sony talked to the peeps over at UploadVR.com and had the following to say:

We are aware that a recent PlayStation promotional email indicated that Star Wars Battlefront II will be PS VR compatible. This email was incorrect and we apologise for any confusion caused.

While there is PS VR gameplay available as downloadable content for Star Wars Battlefront (released in 2015), nothing has been announced regarding PS VR support for Star Wars Battlefront II.

I emphasized “nothing has been announced”. Why? Someone at Sony let the cat out of the bag AND they want us to forget all about it by E3. Not happening, Brah! Your Jedi mind tricks won’t work on me!!!! We demand our Star Wars Battlefront II PS VR content..or else we (quietly) riot!!

If you own Star Wars Battlefront AND a PS VR headset, then you’ve probably experienced the short, but greatness of the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One VR Mission. Star Wars fan LOVED it and hoped during the SWBFII reveal that EA would’ve confirmed more VR content. Didn’t happen.

That doesn’t mean that it isn’t going to happen!! We have our first possible clue, if the Danish PlayStation newsletter knows what they’re talking about! Behold this image below!!

A similar image has also appeared on the German PlayStation newsletter!! Could this confirm more PS VR missions for Battlefront II or that the game simply works with the PS VR?

E3 is coming round the bend, I’m sure EA/ DICE will make an appearance at the Sony press conference to announce something. SOON, Brah!
