Here we go again. Yet another month full of excellent games. Another month that continues to add proof that 2017 is shaping up to be a nlegendary year for gaming by the time the ball drops for 2018. Hide them wallets, y’all. It’s time we looked at the major releases for March 2017.

                                The Games

Horizon Zero Dawn (February 28 US, March 1 EU, PS4 Exclusive)

Horizon Zero Dawn is a bit tricky. Yes, it technically released last month in the US, but it didn’t release until March 1 in the UK, SO she’s on the list, Brah. Pretty sure at this point I don’t have to tell you more about this game. Most of you already have it or plan on getting it. I’m four hours into it and loving the game thus far. The RPG elements are great and gameplay is easy to learn. Those graphics? Brahsome. If you own a PS4, you should be buying Horizon Zero Dawn.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands (March 7, US and EU)

This game has all the makings of another smash hit in Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy series. Controversial story line that pissed off Bolivia? Check. YUUUUGE open world for you to BLOW SH!T UP in? Double Check! You’re a member of the Ghosts, the most BADASS of the BADASS in the US military. Like, when the all the other groups of the military can’t get it done, you call these guys in. War is over. These guys even make the G.I. Joes blush. Damn. Tom Clancy fans, you might want to check this one out.

NieR: Automata (March 7 US and 10 EU)

Who’d a thunk it that a spinoff of a spinoff of a semi-popular Square Enix series (Drakengard) would be this awesome!?! Probably doesn’t hurt to have Platinum Games developing the game for you. Known for their over-the-top action based gameplay, NieR plays like a dream. 2B is fast, responsive, and oh so deadly. Plus, for an android, she’s kinda cute. Or something. Don’t know the etiquette for admiring fictional female characters. There’s a demo on the PSN that is available to download. I highly recommend you download it if you’re interested in the game. You’ll probably run to pre-order it afterwards.

Mass Effect Andromeda (March 21 US and 23 EU)

600 years after the original Mass Effect Trilogy, mankind awakens in the Andromeda system, ready to find a new planet to call home. Except this is SCI-FI. NOTHING EVER GOES ACCORDING TO PLAN. Which is a good thing!! Graphics? Beautiful. Gameplay? Bioware has made it more user friendly and customizable than ever before. There’s still a multiplayer mode that no one really asked for, but hey. Could be fun! No reason to doubt Bioware. Right? Right!?

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix (March 28 US and March 31 EU)

Brah. Brah. BRAH! You get 4 different Kingdom Hearts games and 2 ‘movies’ in one package. THAT’S A WHOLE LOT OF KINGDOM HEARTS, BRAH! Then you combine it with Kingdom Hearts 2.8. BOOM. The complete Kingdom Hearts experience on the PS4. Enjoy. Just make sure you bring pen and paper. You’re going to need it to take notes about the storyline. Brahsome series, convoluted storyline.

MLB The Show 17 (March 28 US and EU — Wait really? Europe. Interesting.)

San Diego Studios is going all out this year. New commentary team. MLB Network Presentation. Over a 1,000 new motion-captured animations. Enhanced graphics. Retro mode. I can go on if you need me to. Now that the PS3 version is out of the way, the PS4 version can truly shine. This year’s version aims to be a satisfying as a Ken Griffey Jr. home run swing.

                          Game of the Month:

Gamers win this month!! Seriously. Look at all those games above! Something for EVERYONE!! Plus there’s more I’ve failed to list. Hell, I’m not even afraid to mention The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Switch/ Wii U. The game is receiving amazing reviews. March has the potential to be fantastic across the gaming nation. GAME ON, BRAH!!!
