So it continues!! News regarding the Final Fantasy VII Remake (Part One) has been released at the ‘speed of sloth’ since it was first announced at E3 2015. I mean, it’s not like Square Enix to ever reveal a game too earlier, right? (Insert Lenny face here). OK, enough bashing. Here’s the news.

Producer Yoshinori Kira chatted with Japanese magazine, Dengeki PlayStation about how the voice acting for the main scenario is almost finished.

Final Fantasy VII Remake required a great amount of preparation. The voice actors have nearly finished recording for the main scenario. Fans might be picturing Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but this is a Cloud in his prime from before the movie so the performance may feel fresh.

He didn’t stop there. He also commented on the ‘New visual’ they released last month for FFVII Re during the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary celebration last month.

The new visual presented at the Final Fantasy 30th anniversary features something that wasn’t in the original, Sephiroth (and his black wing?) – we’ll leave the meaning to everyone’s imagination.

There you have it. Your monthly Final Fantasy VII Remake news!! Please be excited for it in 2018!!
