In a piece of gaming news that had me feeling incredibly giddy today, Ezio Auditore da Firenze will be making his triumphant return this Fall. Earlier today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will be coming to the PS4 on November 15, 2016 for $59.99.

The Assassin’s Creed Ezio trilogy – Assassin’s Creed II in particular – is still considered by many to be the absolute pinnacle of the series. I know that I personally enjoyed ACII far more than future, by-the-numbers entries in the series such as Assassin’s Creed III and Unity, so I was pretty overjoyed to hear this news. The Ezio Collection includes Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, as well as all previously-released single-player downloadable content for those games. The game will also feature upgraded visuals and bonus content for all three games. No word from Ubisoft yet on if the game will feature any additional enhancements that take advantage of the PS4 Pro, which releases on November 10.

Wanna see the box art? Of course you do!

The game is currently available for pre-order through Amazon here. Now, if Ubisoft would kindly present us with a new Ezio game, all would be right in the world.
